THANTHAI PERIYAR
Thanthai Periyar was a rationalist, a great social reformer and a disciplinarian. He strove hard for the upliftment of the downtrodden and suppressed. He preached for eradication of superstitious beliefs which stand as an obstacle against one's own improvement. He aimed for equality of women with men and education for all.
This school has been named after him to achieve his ideals.

India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give respect to my parents, teachers and all elders and treat everyone with courtesy. To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion.In their well being and prosperity alone lies my happiness.
